Regular stuff returns tomorrow

Don’t take this the wrong way, but I’ve been “off” for today because of my mom.

Since I got home around 8pm last night, she’s been frantically wrapping up some things before her two-week vacation to the Philippines. She ran errands all day, did some laundry, and talked on the phone for at least two hours[1. before 10pm].

She finally started to pack around 10:30pm. In the middle of the night, I was awaken by the sounds of rustling plastic as she scrounged around, so I never got into a deep sleep.

When I woke up at 5:45am, she was awake and basically ready.

“Did you sleep at all?”

“No.”

She told me that her friend[1. My godmother, who apparently slept from 8pm-4am] called at 4am and talked to her for 90 minutes.

** I think I forgot to mention that she went to Jordan and Israel[1. The Holy Land] for two weeks — and had just returned on Sunday.

We got to LAX around 8:30am, got her luggage checked in, had breakfast, and left her so she could go to the terminal just shy of 10:30am. Her flight was scheduled to leave at 11am. It left five minutes late.

I’ll miss my mom. Oh, shut up.

I hung out with my cousins in Glendale and Burbank for a few hours before getting home just now. So, I’m exhausted and feeling off. Maybe I’ll process and upload some of today’s photos, but not until later.

Normalcy will resume tomorrow.😉
