Seriously, if you think about it the thumb allows us to grasp things. The muscles never evolved for fine motor dexterity.
I never thought about thumbs in this way. Makes me think about all that gaming I used to do when I played on my Nintendo and Super Nintendo. And what about text messaging? I don’t do that heavily, but I’m sure there’s some people that use their cell phones in conjunction with AOL Instant Messenger. Don’t mess up your hands.
After some inspiration (or fright), I’ve been drinking tea for the past four days. How am I liking it? After the first two times of weirdness, with the help of my friend Pete, I should probably add sugar or honey to it. I felt dumb ordering tea for the first time at Starbucks, but now I’m fine with it. I’m going to start making it at home, though, because I think I found a flavor I like at work (where there’s a bunch of tea bags and coffee variations). Fortunately for me, I haven’t had any headaches or anything. Green tea and honey, good stuff!
Lifting some weights with a good friend of mine, Dan, and it was fun. He was feeling sick, definitely not 100%. Andy has PowerBlocks, so Dan and I would alternate sets. Every time I increased the weight, and he was struggling and grunting, he’d say “You did this, Bryan.” Sorry if that wasn’t funny, I suppose you had to be there.
