Jun 10 Athletics shortstop Bobby Crosby was limping after Thursday’s game and probably will get Friday off with a quadriceps strain, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. “It’s hurt since the first day I got back (from the DL last week), and any time I run, it bothers me,” he said. “If I don’t get any hits, I’m fine, but I had a triple.”

Views: So we just want to make sure we understand this… If you don’t get a hit, you’re fine, but since you’ve been hitting the ball, it’s a problem. That is bad logic no matter which way you slice it. Our hope is the training staff is already working on the problem so it doesn’t become a bigger issue. Your best move is getting him on the bench for Friday’s game.

I don’t care if the logic sounds wrong, he’s tearing it up today! 2 for 4 with one double, a two-run homer, and two RBIs - man! I’m lucky I forgot to check my fantasy team today, other I probably would’ve benched him.

Thanks Chico for tipping him off to me! I hope I catch up to you!

Who would you keep in your lineup right now: Mark Grudzielanek or Chase Utley? Todd Helton is my 1st baseman, and David Ortiz is in Utility. Utley has been bringing the homers, and Grudzielanek has been bringing people home. What to do? Really, I’m asking you!

Am I an idiot? I guess I can’t forsee the future. I benched Keith Foulke for Tuesday (May 3) because his ERA has been terrible, only to find out he did well better last night. I’m okay, though.

Eight moves within a 24 hour period - isn’t that a bit much for fantasy baseball? Doesn’t anyone try to ride it out anymore?

I was chatting in the WordPress IRC channel, and someone said that Firefox 1.0 RC1 was released. It was mentioned in the MozillaZine forums (unofficial), and wasn’t officially announced until about an hour ago. Some extensions weren’t compatible, so they got disabled. Out of the 12 I had installed, five were disabled. I exported my bookmarks before jumping into the install. So far, so good. I thought I read somewhere in their forums that it’s faster than 1.0PR1, so that might be some incentive to try it out and sacrifice the few days (hopefully) the developers update their extensions.

Oh yeah, watching the game right now? Go Red Sox! I’m glad Damon struck right away - he’s been doing well for me on my fantasy baseball team all season, and I was hoping he come through even bigger in the post season. Note: Thanks Chris, I sounded like my stats would continue. I know they end after the regular season. Thanks.

Johnny Damon and Jason Varitek did awesome for the Red Sox, that’s all I gotta say. There really aren’t any other highlights for the rest of my team, but I should definitely be getting some more points. (I hope.) Oh yeah…
