Cloudless skies make for not-as-cool photographs. So when I got off work a few weeks ago to see the skies blanketed in wisps of clouds, I was elated.
I could nail this photo with better glass and a tripod. Oh well, not bad for the kit lens1, right?
Taken at the entrance of Los Angeles Union Station.

Can you see my love for portrait photography? I have well over 500 portraits published onto Flickr1 and I’m feeling fairly comfortable in capturing the photos I want.
Please email or call me and let’s schedule a portrait session2!
I’ll make the whole process as easy as possible while determined to produce results you love.
I’ll be offering my time at a discount - but it won’t last forever!
If Reese doesn’t lure you in, I don’t know what will.
Taken across the street from ArcLight Cinemas - that dome thing. Very cool theater, but kind of pricey.
Some funny comments from Flickr:
“She’s keeping her options open.” - kajatl
“Considering that he had all the imagination to take her to CPK, I kind of get it.” - cinemafia
In any case, I think you’re asking for it when you wear shirts (or outfits) like this. Don’t be offended. It’s a compliment - I think.
I can’t explain why I love this photo so much. Perhaps it’s the dark tones in the motorcycles or the headlight from that motorcycle across the street. Maybe the traffic gave me a chuckle and I’m imagining all the car horns blaring.
I don’t care that it doesn’t seem to be popular on my Flickr photostream. I love this anyway.
While photowalking with Cody, this was the furthest south we walked down Highland Avenue before turning back toward Hollywood Blvd.
Short story: Some weirdos were greeting random people as they walked past. One of them did the same to us, but we didn’t acknowledge them.
She stopped, turned toward us and said, “You know, you really should greet someone if they greet you. You could get killed out here.”
And…that was it for us.
When I’m on the Metro or driving without friends, I’m listening to podcasts. I haven’t made a list here in awhile, so I thought I’d share in hopes you’d like them, too.
Yes, most of these are photography-related. I don’t have any favorites…I love them all equally! The last one is definitely the oddball out of the others, but sometimes I just want mindless humor.
One more thing: listening to podcasts don’t require the use of an iPod. You can listen to them on your computer, any MP3 player, or burned onto a CD-R disc.
Enjoy!
