Glad I don’t need to use Adobe Reader 9

I’ve been installing Adobe Reader 8.1.2 for our computers at work. Then, I found out there was a new version: Adobe Reader 9.

No thanks. If there’s no security holes, stick to the earlier version because it won’t:

Head over to microBlog’s sarcastic post, “Thank you, Adobe Reader 9!” Then, download and use Foxit PDF or Sumatra PDF. They’re both free.

Of course, Reader 8.1.2 is SLOWER than Reader 9 while taking up more RAM than necessary. In addition, it doesn’t support the various ISO PDF standards such as PDF/X, PDF/A and the new ISO 32000.

Of course - the choice is yours, but I’d rather have something fast, light and powerful…
