Since I communicate with Twitter, TinyURL is the standard service used for sharing shortened links with others. (I use Tweetl, though, but that’s another story.)

If you get the TinyURL Popup Preview Greasemonkey Script, you won’t get surprised when you click on a link. (via LifeSpy)

I wish there were more services supported, but this is a nice start.
