Upcoming photowalk in La Jolla

After some deliberation with Brian Auer, we finally setup a San Diego photowalk!

Where - La Jolla, California
When - Saturday, February 9th, 2008 at 1pm
Why - Brian put it best: “Why not? Photowalks are a great way to meet other local photographers, get inspired, and take home some great photos. So if you live in the [...]

Ankle tendon inflamed again

I felt something wrong yesterday morning. By lunch, I was certain my ankle was acting up again.
Almost one year ago, I had an inflamed tendon in my right ankle. From what I remember, the solution was to get SuperFeet insoles to correct my feet and to prevent the injury from reoccurring. Here it is again, [...]

Jungle Disk is hiring

Looking for a job in the Atlanta area? Jungle Disk is hiring, and they sound really cool. They’re definitely my choice for online backup and storage - I’ve been using them for months now.
I’m posting this for that $1,000 referral bonus, too, but I really think they’ve got things going for themselves.

Wireless security for new notebook users

My cousin, Narissa, just got a laptop for Christmas and asked me about wireless security. I figure now is a good time to revisit this because she’s probably not the only one that received a notebook for the holidays. Fortunately, she’s thinking about security; most people probably just connect to open wireless access points without [...]

Redbox free rental codes don’t work

I tried three Redbox codes tonight that should have worked: NEWYEAR, OOPS, and HDU942. They all expire at midnight. But, none of them worked.
I already complained to Redbox after NEWYEAR didn’t work. Then, they sent all Redbox users an apology email and a new code: OOPS.
Redbox, fix the system. I don’t care that it’s a [...]

TinyURL Popup Preview

Since I communicate with Twitter, TinyURL is the standard service used for sharing shortened links with others. (I use Tweetl, though, but that’s another story.)
If you get the TinyURL Popup Preview Greasemonkey Script, you won’t get surprised when you click on a link. (via LifeSpy)
I wish there were more services supported, but this is a [...]

Change this site to a different theme to improve marketing my photos
Process photos, especially from last month and Saturday’s LA Photowalk; also, write a recap for that photowalk
Write about 2007 and choose my favorite photos of the year
Figure out a better system for photo processing and storage
Create a document of photos to take - I [...]
