VLC Remote Interface Widget - for Windows?

I saw Merlin’s Pick of the Week: VLC Remote Interface Widget. That’s cool, and I’m glad, but is there one of these apps for Windows users?

“I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.”

I currently burn the Divx or Xvid video file(s) files to CD, then play them on my Philips DVP642 DivX-Certified Progressive-Scan DVD Player.

Hey that would be really neat. It’s about time someone programs that!

I love VLC, but i have recently switch to GOM player, primarily because it supports the remote on my MCE desktop, and the remote that came with my hp notebook.

GOM and VLC are both similar players, that dont need codecs to be installed, etc. You could give gom a try.

@Jayant: Thanks! I’ve never heard of that player before. I don’t think I need to try it, but it’s always good to have options.

Did you really delete your files? Remember Kindergarten Cop?
