You all like having spare time, right? When you’re studying for a test, that’s what it’s all about - time. Well, if you haven’t heard of the Cornell method, I think Gina Trapani wrote a great article that opened my eyes.

I did some computer consulting a few weeks ago. The following is a true story in its entirety.
This nice lady contacted me that saying that her computer was really slow. I gathered anti-spyware software and mentally prepared for a 3-hour bout.
Fortunately, it was far from terrible. She just had AOL. Her computer was fairly new, [...]
Since some people (via Buzz Out Loud) are having problems with iTunes 7, and I just wanted to give my two cents on that.
One co-worker can’t get iTunes to start anymore, despite attempting to reinstall. She called tech support, and they said that they would charge $50 to troubleshoot it over the phone for the [...]
I know a friend that has a bunch of Starbucks cards, and it’s near impossible for him to keep track. I can imagine him with a stack of cards, and not knowing what the balance is on each. He’d then proceed to ask the barista to check each card for him. Kind of annoying, don’t [...]
I’ve finally setup FeedBurner here utilizing the FeedBurner plugin. If you want, please change the main feed URL to:

For comments:

The old feed still works, but can anyone tell me the .htaccess code to redirect the old feed? Thanks! (And thanks to Steve Smith!)
If you’re using WordPress, you might want to check out Feed Validator. My feed had a slight “CommentRSS” error that takes a few seconds to fix. If you didn’t touch your default wp-rss2.php file, it’s probably there.
Since College v2 has a “What’s your system?” series going on, I thought I’d write about mine. (I’ll write about school specifically once that starts up for me again.)

In January 2005, I wrote “Why teachers should blog“. I still think that stands.
My good friend, Andy, has been teaching now for four years. Two years ago, he wanted a website for students to refer to. Instead of manually creating webpages from Dreamweaver, I got him to use WordPress and he’s been using it ever [...]
A couple friends have asked about notebook recommendations. Which one is best for them? What do they need? Questions like that. I haven’t figured out is notebook warranties - which one do you get?
