You are right on the money about making subscription easier. An additional resource is Feedpass. In addition to providing resources for subscribing, Feedpass does an excellent job of guiding novice users through the process while still making it easy for experts. It’s also a perfect way to create a more easy to use URL for subscribing to your blog. You end up with a URL that reads http://www.feedpass.com/insertnamehere. It’s similar to Feedburner but Feedpass doesn’t take over control of your actual feed. In addition, you can share in AdSense revenue with Feedpass. http://www.feedpass.com
