While on the topic of “concert”… I just went to see “BLAST!” in Shibuya, Japan, today. I can’t describe how AWESOME it was but if I were to use just one word to comment about blast!, it is …”BRILLIANT!!!” I’ve never seen anything like it and it was the best concert/musical I’ve ever seen in my life. (”Forever Plaid” was pretty good, which I saw in Pasadena with my school while I was in HS. But this one is just off the scale.)
I HIGHLY recommend “blast!” to everyone who appreciates music, dancing, and just generally, arts. “blast!” mainly contains brass instruments (crazily awesome trumpet players included), percussions (snare drums were, oh my, crazy), and visual performers (dancers with flags and other props.) I checked their website and it says that they’re planned to play in Pasadena Civic Auditorium and I really want to see them again. The tickets, I don’t think will be cheap, but it’s well worth it. I’m already planning to go if I can!
