Be nice to your web developers

If you’re not running a website yourself, and you have someone else on staff doing it, please proofread a thousand times before you send them some text you want published on a new page. Sure, it’ll take a few more days to get it out there. But, do you really want to send your web developer twenty emails asking to change a little here, a little there?

Also, just because you can do some cool and advanced things to a page in Microsoft Word doesn’t mean it’ll be that easy (read: point and click) to transpose it to a webpage.

I’m only six months into this new job, and I’m way too scared to say this directly to the person to whom I’m talking about. However, I don’t think my supervisor has said anything to him yet. (Maybe he hasn’t had enough time.) But, I just don’t know if I’m in any position to say something, especially since I’m still the new guy. I don’t necessarily want him to read this, so I suppose I’m just venting.
