I’m trying out BackupBuddyVFS Personal. I haven’t been too good in backing that data up, other than HotSync - and that doesn’t cover everything.
If you have a PDA, how do you sync your email addresses in Palm Contacts with your email app? I’m looking for insight especially for Gmail users. Thanks!
Pdaaddict at OrganizedHome.com has written a lot of good articles for anyone that uses a PDA (especially a PalmOne handheld). Old to me, but probably new to you. It’s definitely something I’m going to reread, since I’m getting into my Tungsten E quite a bit again.
I got yelled at just now. This email was in all caps, and I felt so small. Not really, I knew he wasn’t exactly yelling. Still, if you’re typing, make sure your caps lock isn’t on when you send that email. Are there any global freeware programs that allow you invert the case of letters if you accidently wrote a long text of email? How about for Outlook 2000?
I installed Plucker and Sunrise to get some RSS feeds onto my Tungsten E. I think I only needed the Plucker Viewer, since Sunrise would be the Plucker Parser/Distiller. In any case, I installed the full program for both. I’ve only got a handful of full-text RSS feeds to see how it works, and it’s all working pretty well.
Any other full-text RSS feeds you think are worthwhile to put onto my PDA when I’m out away from my laptop and bored out of my mind?
It’s also set to download into my external memory card, rather than into RAM. I was sort of skeptical if it was really doing that, but my doubt subsided when I used FileZ to make sure that wasn’t the case.
Until someone helps, I’m giving up on GeeXboX with my Dell Inspiron 1100. It just won’t work properly. Vertical lines, and won’t display through the S-Video. The Toshiba Satellite A75-S231 (Jon’s laptop) works fine…but will only display on his laptop. It won’t display through S-Video either. I’m still hoping support will get added. What stinks is that the GeeXboX website doesn’t have any RSS feeds.
I’m loving Kubrick Two…I can’t wait ’til he releases it!
I couldn’t think of a better title, but basically, Flickr doubles some stuff and cuts the price for a pro account in half. They also give two invites for a one-year Pro account. If you can donate one to me, I’d really appreciate it - I don’t have a pro account, and I’d love to use it instead of uploading pics in here. (Golf clap: Waxy.org Links Miniblog)
Eight moves within a 24 hour period - isn’t that a bit much for fantasy baseball? Doesn’t anyone try to ride it out anymore?
When I was in Glendale yesterday, I also tried out Cheryl’s T-Mobile Sidekick II. I guess she can use it for AIM, but she was also using the web browser. Of course, what site do you think I went to? Surprisingly, if you go to my blog, it shows the posts and the pictures within the post, but the layout isn’t generated. It didn’t take more than a few seconds, either. Interesting little gadget, but I wonder if its worth the cost. I’m sure light web browsing would be fine, and I’d dig it to at least read the latest for my blogroll. Just slap me, though - I’m on Verizon Wireless, and I don’t need to be connected 24/7. I wasn’t even using my computers extensively for the past couple days, and I think I’m fine. *twitch*
