Today was staff appreciation day. What did Public Counsel do for us? Give us the day off with pay, brunch at the lovely Corner Bakery at Farmers Market, and a free movie pass with a $5 gift certificate at the Pacific Theatres. The “Farmer’s Scrambler” breakfast entree was excellent, and “Sahara” was pretty good. How cool is that?
Must be nice! I have my performance evaluation tomorrow and I won’t get shit.

I went to Corner Bakery with JRod and Everjon (sp?) from PCC on Thursday for lunch. I had Chiken Pesto sandwich but MAN, was it HARD. The friggin bread tore up my gums (I don’t care if baguette is oh-so-special bread from Italy)…. but it was ok. I’ll probably try something other than baguette sandwich next time for sure though, if I ever go there again. (I just don’t think it was worth 6 bucks for only a rock-hard sandwich, which tasted a-ok with rock-hard chips–no drinks. But I guess that’s what you pay for in a famous chain-restaurant in old-Pas…)
Yea, call me a whiner. (I’d rather choose Quizno’s. Mm-mm-mm-mm-mmm… Toasty!)
