Surftp

Surftp: Web-based FTP. Secure? Not anymore secure than a FTP client not on Secure mode. Anyone have the guts to try this out?

Could always make it https (ya right… Way too expensive for a free site).

Oh you could always set up a dummy user for it also… If anything weird hapens you just delete the dummy account.

Good idea - just to test it out. I’ll keep non-important files in a subdirectory, and see how things go. I think I’ll actually upload my boys’ baseball records. Thanks for the idea, Anthony. :)

Hello,

We are the Surftp.com owners, and having searched google for SurFTP i came accross this site.

To re-assure you all who use Surftp - we do not log any FTP details as it is not part of the script that is installed. We do not have any admin panel either to administrate the script that runs the FTP online in a web environment. However we will be adding alot more interesting programs and scripts very soon!

Thanks
Dave
