Too busy?

Last semester, things weren’t too hectic. I didn’t take too many classes, and I wasn’t working. Also, I wasn’t getting too many requests for the expertise I have to offer: building and troubleshooting PCs.

Update linkroll broken

Update: I’ve learned a little bit about what the plugin does. It checks the changes.xml file. However, if that’s down, then it won’t finish running. Things are back to normal, in terms of checking my blogroll if they’re updated. I’ll explain later how that all works, and which is probably the best method.
I’m not sure [...]

Anti-trackback spam working?

I’m not sure if anybody noticed, but on Saturday, I think about 5 trackback spam got correctly sent to moderation. This morning, about 15 got through. They weren’t sent to moderation like they were supposed to.

Anyone else going? Um, not [...]

Geek factor contained in this post: high.
I just saw that Anthony is trying out Fedora Core 3 on his computer. So, I started the downloads for all the 32-bit ISO images last night with FileZilla. The good: server I chose seems to be very speedy. The brutal: I forgot to select “Process queue”, so when [...]

Defrag automatically in minutes

I just read Fred Langa’s “Langa Letter: Make Windows XP Self-Maintaining” dated on October 27, 2003. Wow, I skimmed through it the first time around, but he brought it up again somewhere in one of his latest newsletters. In any case, I was tired of manually defragmenting my hard drives, in addition to the length [...]

I love my work PC

Yet another H.S. inaugural weekend

It’s been awhile, and a lot went on this weekend. Attended a semi-annual high school inaugural for Rio Hondo Prep.
