Gmail signatures
I’m going to start using email signatures, so people can regularly see what I would (and should) type after each email I send out. However, I am bugged about the signatures getting bumped to the very bottom of the whole email - even after all the quoted text. After a long email or two from a few friends, nobody would even want to scroll through all those messages. I’ve been cutting and pasting my signature from the bottom to the top lately, but I’m hoping they can just switch a little something around. Hopefully the signature could be at the top of the reply, by default, so you can just start typing before it.
I sent the following to Gmail support (contact Gmail). If you can word it better, leave a comment so I can re-edit this post. Otherwise, if you agree with me and can help out on a cajoling campaign, I’d love it. (I don’t see that word too often, so I linked to the dictionary. I’m not trying to demean you, really.) Thanks!
If replying to an email, and you’re using a signature, place it before all the quoted text (rather than after it).
