Google SMS

Google SMS (Short Message Service) enables you to easily get precise answers to specialized queries from your mobile phone or device. Send your query as a text message and get phone book listings, dictionary definitions, product prices and more. Just text. No links. No web pages. Simply the answers you’re looking to find.

Since I’m into WP, I looked up the definition of “blog”, and a few seconds later, received three text messages. They were out of order, but gave what I wanted.

I don’t travel too much, but I do know times when this service would’ve been handy on the road. If those awesome people in Mountain View develop this, I think I could find use for it!

I know, me too. I don’t use WAP or get ringtones - because it’s main purpose is for communication. But, I was driving down to San Diego last month for a retreat, and we wanted to stop for lunch. It would’ve been cool to pick something out in the car then try to find it off the freeway, rather than having to put up with the usual fast food places seen off it. Except for In-N-Out - that’s okay. =P

i heard this from a comedian.. i forgot who it was thought.

“ringtones are like pictures of your animals.. no one cares”

That’s so true…I forget what ringtone my friends even have until it plays again. (Oh yeah, that sounds like you might’ve heard it from Last Comic Standing - maybe?)
