I finally figured out what it was called after ten minutes of searching. If you know me, and do it - I’m sorry. If you’re a close friend and/or relative - I’m sorry.
What am I talking about? If you continuously TaLk LiKe DiS (or something to that extent).
I can’t imagine how much more time it takes to type like that. Imagine what your readers are thinking if you’ve got a whole paragraph like that! Imagine if you had to read a whole novel like that! If you blog with sticky caps, it’s just that much worse. Unless you only want kids to read your musings, drop the habit! Sparingly using it isn’t as bad, I suppose. Rest assured I won’t type in that style. *sigh of relief*

(I didn’t add myself to the Sticky Caps Hatelisting site.)
Update: I was down again this morning from 10:30am to 11:30am.
I haven’t been able to get online basically for the last three evenings due to problems on their end. They’ve been so good until now! Perhaps they’re making up for “non-downtime” for all the years I’ve been with them essentially trouble-free…
Here’s a little rant about the SBC Yahoo DSL status updates the technicians post when you call them.
It’s the one month anniversary since I made my first duct tape wallet! (Literally! I edited the timestamp to post this exactly when I posted it month ago.) It sticks in some places, though, so I’m going to eventually have to make another one more carefully. Not anytime soon, though. ![]()
I wish I would’ve started reading blogs much earlier. I’m sure I would’ve come across this post or the sites contained in it much sooner. Layout-O-Matic helps generate a XHTML/CSS layout, while List-O-Matic assists in creating a navigation list.
I’m glad I dug around Vinnie Garcia’s blog, or else I would’ve never came across his post mentioning these sites. I’ll use them when it comes time to redo the website.
My mom and I use Verizon Wireless as our cell phone carrier. For the past year, she’s had an old Motorola V60c graciously handed down by my previous boss (you’re awesome!).
It was officially and completely broke when she got back from her Europe trip. The main screen was blank, and the exterior was really faint. I decided to call Verizon to take them up on the insurance plan we’ve been paying faithfully. It’s through a company called Asurion, and I’d have to call them.
This was taken last year while I was driving one of the Ryder trucks across the country, helping out with a large group of high school guys.
Just giving myself a reason to try the Image Browser plugin I installed today.
Thanks to jumbo in the WP forums, I see that the menu is off in all IE browsers. It’s perfect in Mozilla browsers, however (including Firefox). I’ll try and fix this later today. Edit: Menu doesn’t position to the bottom of the page anymore in IE. Also, if I try to keep the h3 & storytitle background navy blue and the text color white, it’ll be black in IE, and I’m not sure what to do about that. For now, I’ve left it gray.
Johnny Damon and Jason Varitek did awesome for the Red Sox, that’s all I gotta say. There really aren’t any other highlights for the rest of my team, but I should definitely be getting some more points. (I hope.) Oh yeah…
I just found out that I won’t be upgrading the forums anymore. They’re not offering the free trial, which is what I’ve been using as my forums script for the past few years.
Should I switch back to phpBB? (I’m not sure what quirks might come up though.) Or should I scrap the forums? How about start fresh with the smaller and faster PunBB? (Alex King uses PunBB, that’s where I first saw it.)
The forums have died down fairly significantly, except for the regulars that I love like family. Basically, I’m not sure what to do anymore.
Anyways, comments are appreciated. Thanks!
Don’t you hate it when you see a good price for an item you were thinking of purchasing retail - only to find that the shipping costs made up for it? That’s my exact gripe trying to find an iTalk for my 3G iPod thru eBay, since retail is $39.95. I wanted to record class lectures, mainly. (I can care less if the speaker stinks, just as long as it records well.) It looks like I’ll just be buying it tomorrow in the Pasadena Apple Store after class. (I’ll have to hold off on the LCD monitor for awhile.)
Note: I’m not saying that all eBay sellers charge a lot for shipping. It just seems like a lot do. No offense.
