More duct tape!

I tried to make a trifold duct tape wallet for myself last night, but the instructions weren’t as clear as the article to build a classic-type wallet. I really wanted a trifold, too. I’m going to have to settle for this classic one, I guess…at least for the next couple of days.

Or…I can buy one! There’s this brand called Ducti, and all the apparel manufacture is from super duct tape. It’s actually really cool.

The classic Ducti wallet is pretty cheap at Cyberguys, though, rather than the actually Ducti site. But if you want like the Triplett (Trifold) wallet, it’s probably best straight from Ducti. 21 bucks (USD) for that wallet, shipped in two days, has been the best I’ve seen compared to other resellers, where the tradeoff is shipping time.

I already bought a roll last night to make this new amateur-looking duct tape wallet, so I guess I can practice making another one.

I used to know a kid in High School that could make anything out of duct tape. Unfourtantly for him this was before it was cool to make things out of duct tape.

Yeah, I think if I did this back in ‘96 or 2000, I might’ve gotten laughed at. I don’t want to utilize duct tape *all the time*, but it sure is cool to have such a distinctive wallet. I’ve gotten a few “double takes” today…hahaha

I make stuff out of duct tape all the time….who pays 21 bucks for a wallet when you can make one yourself. The wallet I just made for my boyfriend was a trifold, had a clear pocket for driver’s license with small hold for easier removal, a zip lock pocket to hold change, a over flap that velcrowed down to store cards, and the the walet stayed shut by velcrow. I’ve also made pursues, shoes, skirts, ties, hats, cell phone holders, belts, and anything else my mind can come up with. Email me at sbrsweetie@hotmail.com if you would like me to make you one of my trifold walets….all I would ask is that you send me about $7…($4 to cover shipping costs and $3 to cover the cost of duct tape and velcrow) I could get it to you in about a week.
